Is there any role this woman cannot do? Manisha Koirala has that face and body language where she is soft and timid one moment and evil and scheming the next. Only Manisha could pull off a Mallikajaan honestly. No wonder Bhansali cast his first heroine in his first OTT series.
She's our 90s sweetheart 💋 1942 a love story, Dil se, Saudagar, Criminal, Akele hum akele tum, Agnisakshi, Lajja, Kacche dhaage, Khamoshi, Kartoos... ❤ Seriously, we had very talented stars in our time and thanks to all of them for giving us such beautiful, cinematic memories ❤
mallika jaan was a very strong nd bold character nd manisha koirala literally lived it ,great performance.. it was heart wrenching to see mallika jaan dancing helplessly nd cartwright slapped her😢
Mind-blowing acting by...manisha koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao haidari and sanjeeda seikh and richa chadda in short role too ❤❤❤but Sharmin disappointed by expressionless acting
Manisha Koirala didn't really blink in this scene, yet looks at ease while acting. Whereas Deepika makes her eyes wider and full of tears while acting in SLB movies (Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat). She wasn't able to carry such kind of acting. Even if actor doesn't blink, the emotions should flow through the eyes with ease. I liked Manisha Koirala's acting here ❤
Haha the bar for actresses in today’s time is very low! Manisha is a veteran give her a great role and a good director she can chew up the scenery! She has something uniquely special that only she has hard to pin point. It’s good that through such performances audience can once again be reminded what ‘acting’ is! Screaming screeching making faces and this is what is called acting today and is being awarded also
Well Manisha ji is veteran actress ❤ she never really got appreciation back in her days by industry but people loved her. Her movies were way ahead of her times..
@@raghadmawal7250 it not about negative or positive role. Its about certain type of acting that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to curate and present on the big screen. Manisha ji did justice to SLB's vision in Heeramandi
More such roles for Manisha please. Let us fans give her that support and victory in life that she will enjoy for the rest of her life, especially when life itself gave her hell lot of pain and sufferings. Lots of prayers and best wishes for this beautiful humble soul ❤❤❤❤
One man having an affair outside of marriage is not okay and he's a misogynist too. Normalising and glorifying the kotha culture and kothewaalis "entertaining" hundreds everyday is so elite! Cute!❤
I didn't like the series as much as I thought I would. It was weird fusion of sex workers and freedom , like they rushed too fast It was bland and a bit bore tbh
@anjaliadhikari4673 No I remember her when she was young and her scenes. Now, her voice is changed and quiet bold now. I can't belive doesnt mean literally. It's a figure of speech. Don't understand why your tone sounds a bit off. We both are her supporters.
Please watch Bombay, Dil Se, 1942 A Love Story and Company, Lust Stories ...her unforgettable performances. And Heermandi is the crown jewel in her career.
If manisha hadn't gotten this role, even she would not know her hidden acting skills. Shabana azmi also could have carried this role beautifully, but manisha is a better fit
