1965 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਡ ਹੇਠ ਲੜੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। 1967 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਚੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਨਥੂਲਾ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਜਰ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਲੜੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਚੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛੇ ਧਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। 1971 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੌੜਾ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ 93OO ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸੁੱਟਵਾ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮੈ ਉਸ ਸਮੇ ਖੁਦ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਸੀ। 1999 ਕਾਰਗਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਖਾਸ ਟਾਈਗਰ ਹਿਲ ਬ੍ਰਗੇਡੀਅਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਡ ਮੁੜ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਏ। ਮੈ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਫੌਜੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਅ ਲਿਖ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾ। ਪਰ ਅਫਸੋਸ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾ ਦੀਅਆ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਹੀ ਪਾੲਇ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਭਿੱਖੀਵਿੰਡ।

Due to feud between A/M Bhatia and his asking by letter to CM Badal for favour to be ACM but letter leaked in public and it was a costly mistake and he was forced to resign from Air Force.

He say that he fly fighter @2.3 Mac , but IAF Have only Miraj 2000 which can attain maximum speed 2.2 Mac . Only mig 25 fox bat can attain speed 2900 km per hour, which is not in service.he must mention make of jet he fly.

He belongs to my village, his bravery is all in vain.

He is caputued by Pakistan Air force in 1965 war

1965 War Was the war in which Squadron leader Manjit Singh Sikhand was captured after was forced to land his GNAT aircraft in Pakistan ,Which proved his Failure to keep his team together during combat, also he was removed from Airforce After IAF claim of Shooting down a F-86 Sabre was Rejected and proof by PAF Manjit Singh Sikand Was Heard saying “It’s a 104 (F-104) ,RUN!” In his Aircraft when he saw a glimpse of a Pakistani star fighter ,No Pakistani Aircraft were lost in this Aerial Stand off. But an Indian GNAT was captured and was altered transported to Karachi in PAF museum. At last I will say I am not trying to shame or defame Air Marshal Manjit Singh Sikhand but We can’t forget the History ,Afterall a Soldier fights enemy because he loves what’s he is fighting for. I am also retired Airforce officer. I know him very well Sekhon Sahib . Interview was very good but didn't like his English speaking .

He has done one biggest mistake of his life . There were two Air Marshals in line to become CAS as one he other A/ M Bhatia .. AM Bhatia flown in Pakistan area for 15 minuts and he was appointed to conduct inquiry for the incident, Natury he wanted to remove him from his way to the post of ACM and submitted enquiry report against Bhatia . But meanwhile a letter written to Punjab CM by Sekho to recommend him ACM leaked in public and thus Bhatia has now upper hand . Then He had only one option to resign with Rank and pension or face enquiry. He opted to take retirement and thus lost his chance being Chief of Air staff.
