He started building this shelter when Niyabung was just one week old, JK, Jungle man & wife, Somu’s Aunt, Bhumi, Rithuhang, Surya, Somu’s sister’s husband all helped build this shelter, before this Somu & Manjitha had a small open hut on the left side of this current Shelter.

@@illan9145 you are wrong because manjita stayed in somuhang house in the village after she give birth. But I’m not sure how many weeks.

@@redvien3902, when Manjutha stayed in Somu’s house, they started building the new shelter, it was not complete but they built one room to sleep, and they were still using the old shelter for cooking, after Manjitha and Niyabung came Somu and his sister’s husband both added kitchen first and then added another room for Bishu and Somu fimally added a door for their bedroom.

every shepherd moves two-three shelters depending on weather, in summer they go to high altitude grazing ground’s for their sheep to feed good, it gets very cold the more higher you go, In Nov-Dec it will start snowing and gets extremely cold which the animals and even the family can’t handle, so they move down in altitude and stay in a shelter for a while and assess the weather, if it is warm they stay there till end of winter, if it gets cold they move even further down to another shelter to protect the family and the animals from cold, they repeat this while going up in altitude in summer, they go from low altitude shelter to middle shelter and stay there for a while and then move to higher ground’s, this helps them acclimatize to different altitudes.
