“Due to the peculiar structure of the Buddhist philosophy, most persons who have studied it, have regarded Buddhism very largely as an intellectual or philosophic way of life. While this is true, the approach is rather larger and more inclusive than we might imagine.
There has to be some reason beside abstract metaphysics to cause Buddhism to spread throughout Asia, and also to gain a very large following among very simple people. These people were not influenced so much by the psychology of Buddhism, as by its powerful devotional impact.”

Manly is possibly not only one of the greatest philosophers to have lived, but one of the greatest human beings, akin to Buddha. I think the fact that he managed to send this message in the twentieth century is even more revealing, because it is harder to preach such a message in modern times, and he achieved just that. Peace and love!

My future child will have these speeches introduced into their life, the lessons found in the lectures are not just life changing, but life saving. With the impact this has on adults, can you imagine the impact on a child who grows with it?

I want to remove this hatred that arose in me over the past couple of years... I know deep down there is only love... But I felt hurt and betrayed deeply... I tried to reach out, I cried and ask to be forgiven regardless of my pain but nothing moved forward in a positive way... So, yes, I am disturbed by not being in a state of love and compassion towards the ones who hurt me and I will work quietly to allow love to flourish... somehow... I have to... before it’s too late.

This was extraordinarily exquisite, he said we are truth in a vessel, that made me get emotional, we really are love in a body, being experienced momentarily. That love without goodness, does not bring beauty. Therefore we are all servants of beauty when we practice kindness with simplicity, sincerity, and gentleness. Much love in these last days.

Can you just imagine hearing Jesū, Jesus voice as we hear MpH. Why were they not able to record Jesū voice 😢Thank you MPH and those that have preserved you for us. Some one introduced me to Julius E. Italian philosopher, he is experienced life differently but boy, right now, I am so home. I am being ‘whipped’in love for love. No one likes knowing themselves really. MPH is teaching to think deeply about me for me before anyone else. Know me as it’s only then, I can begin to want to know and appreciate another feeling joy and not sadness

Much needed today. She 'needed space' and 'met someone' so it's not 'cheating' to her -- although I didn't know the meaning of 'needing space', I suppose I should have been more in (or out of) tune with the subtleties..

@@jiteshasman2315 Thanks man. Its been enlightening to put it lightly. We've spent so long cultivating love together, I'm going to give it time to cool, and I'm willing to forgive her but only if she acknowledges my pain and expresses her sorrow. She's been subjected to extreme pains in this life that I know have taken a rather large toll on her conscience, leaving her somewhat stubborn. Only time will tell. 🙏
@0ArshKhan0

That sounds very painful. Pain turns into wisdom if the suffering is accepted as something that arose from a cause within ourselves. We can treat such instances as a means of shifting our love from this kind of love (which is akin to attachment) to the love for the Ever-Living, Most Compassionate and the Source of Love. We should attempt to seek Love of and for Truth. Will remember you in my prayers.

Dont play the game. The game is already lost from the very start. You cant make it a winning situation, there is no winning in that game. Abandon sorrow through the uprooting of attachment, clinging, and craving. This lecture and the Tathagata's teaching does not refer to sexual relationships, quite contrary, it absolutley rejects this because it is the main cause of suffering in existence (since sex is the strongest attachment in this life, as is obvious since it is the cause for creation of all our bodies.) I say this cause its very common for us to misunderstand this teaching of love in our delussion, further deepening our pain since we wont get the results we want, which leads to further frustration and pain. And man to man, weve all been there, and anyone who knows would advise you to withdraw and feel the pain in order to have happiness in the future. Further more, explicitly and implicitly, the Tathagata's teaching rejects female nature, advising men not to look at women, speak to women or trust women. This is never said in lectures like these because its offensive to a woman listener, and in living the holy life only words which are pleasing should be said and we should not cause anyone an emotionally disagreeable state, but its there in the text and for all men this stance is pretty obvious, though now a days its kind of counter intuitive since global culture is gynocentric and admires and reveres women like false gods (because of sexual desire, aka, lust, greed, competitiveness, etc.)

That is it. To dissolve something you must expand it. So the Buddha is using the word love instead of the word god or whatever you want to call it. The universality within 🥳 this thing being described at around ten min is the same as when Jesus says clean your cup. A heart of stone is condensed!

@TheTbosh
@TheTbosh 3 года назад
Just love. ... not if... just because. No if’s ... love is eternal,infinite and probably the only “real” situation that amounts to anything in this world, or I should say the only real lesson why we are here...so wake up . Real love will smack you in the face a couple times before you get it. This is what we are after this dimension and light. Love and light ... so if we cannot be aware of this, you will not “ascend” your consciousness So perhaps this is the reason of life? You will forever be returned and “reincarnated” until this lesson is learnt so just remember this the next time someone wants to fight you... watch what happens to them if you just turn and walk the other way, it is much grander lesson and the universe is more acceptable to that eternal love and will prevail...the others will forever return to the hell hills. If you love you may live here in this realm however you will have higher consciousness then perhaps your neighbour. Some will be attracted to you because of this conscious of love. Understand this is also a gift . Being grateful to have this “gift” is also love. Some perhaps may understand this is love being light. Love is light. This is truth. I wrote this to try to explain a very small piece of much I truly understand. You know this I know. But I just need you to know that I also know. And I love you.
