This lecture, "Motivations: The Hidden Drives Behind Thought, Emotion and Action" was spoken and recorded in front of alive audience by Manly P. Hall on February 28, 1965 in Los Angeles.
* This is a remastered and higher quality version of a previous upload *
We have improved our audio restoration equipment and techniques, so in the coming weeks, we will re-upload previously released Manly Hall lectures, which we feel are even better quality now for the listener.

More than re-uploads, they are significantly better quality than the earlier versions. And yes, sorry, but we are nearing the end of our catalog of 'new' or previously unreleased lectures. There are about 25 audio recordings that we will not make public because the audio quality to too poor (although the content is golden).

Listening to all these lectures is always enjoying and mentally situating but he never discusses solutions or ways of combating the mental pressures he talks about and knowing he was a very troubled person himself shows there may be no real solution to the pressures we face.

We've been asked this many times, and the best explanation we can give is that Mr. Hall went to great lengths to help us understand our problems better, and to look upon them with the eyes of wisdom. He lays a foundation for us to work with and come to our own conclusions.

Of course there is a solution, but must look to NATURE not MAN. For Nature openly divulges all secrets and mysteries, liberation is found through shape and pattern. Objective reality divided THE ONE. Shape and pattern unifies all things under an embarrassingly in plain site pattern, it's a spiral to five petal bloom growth pattern , a floral pattern from the mud beneath your feet to milky way overhead
