If you don't have the bow maker punch, you can also use the envelope punch board to make a bow tie, too. Love the simplicity of this card. Thank you for posting the tutorial.

Could you have just turned the little pocket over and stuck him on witht he pattern side up? just add another little strip over the first one to cover the sticky..
