Pharrell (+Neptune's) discography alone makes them one of the top producers in the modern era. Mannie Fresh and Pharrell rarely used samples. And when they did, they were usually indistinguishable from the original piece of music. Dre relied heavily on samples and additional instrumentalists who created their own melodies (like Storch). And for the past couple decades, Ruben just comes in and basically adds finishing touches and expertise, rather than creating original music At the end of the day, Dre puts everything together as a producer should and both he and Ruben have the "ear" for the right sounds.

No one would see it. They'd be no plot unless Birdman is the villain. And then, it'd be generic because Suge Knight has already beat him to it.
