Here at BeatGrade we decided to do our own Top Ten series of great producers. This feature is the legendary Mannie Fresh. He is responsible for being one of the pioneers in creating original sounds and the triple time snare. Mannie Fresh, is an American music producer and rapper. He's best known for his productions on Cash Money Records releases, as well being half of the hip hop duo alongside label co-founder Birdman the Big Tymers. He produced all or most of the songs on 17 multi-platinum, platinum or gold albums for Lil Wayne, Juvenile, early Drake, Cash Money and more from 1998 to 2004 before leaving the label. He also was their only in-house producer

Living legend Mannie Fresh!!! Dude is so underrated it’s a crime. I respect this list but I felt a lot of Mannie’s lesser known bests are some of his best. Juvenile-Bounce Back Lil Wayne- Earthquake B.G- Press one Big Tymers- Get your roll on and Big Balling I can go on for years. Fresh is one of the greatest

Mannie Fresh brought in this new digital Southern style. Its fast paced, yet hits the melodies on point and has sounds to match the chorus of their songs. A+ producer. His sound actually killed No Limits sound in 99

Favorite producer of all time. Carried a whole label. Not knocking the op but this list really doesn't really do him justice. Mannie was killing it when cash money was in its infant stage. He was Dre in the south. From all of BG's projects to 400 degreez and the Hotboys, Mannie Fresh was without a doubt next level.

Couldn't be a true Cash Money fan to do a top 10 Mannie Fresh beat list and leave off U.N.L.V.'s Drag 'Em "N" Tha River when it is widely regarded as #1. It was the beat that brought Juvenile to the label, won the beef with lyrical juggernaut Mystikal, and was sampled on Lil Wayne's solo debut that is listed here at #10. This list didn't go past 1998 with the Universal deal.
