I see a lot of people saying Manny will beat Bud. Manny is a legend but he aint beating Bud. Manny was never the type of boxer to make adjustments like Bud does throughout the fight. Manny likes to overpower by throwing multiple power punches at great speeds and unusual angles and is how he normally wins his fights. Against Bud, once Bud makes his adjustment, itll be the same story as to how Mayweather adjusted his style against Manny. Mayweathers execution of his counter measures against Manny mightve been not what we as fans of boxing expected but it was a perfect counter to Manny's aggressive large volume of power punches, making Manny throw more punches but land less, while Mayweather threw less punches and landed more clean punches. This was a boring ass strategy for us fans but it worked. All of Buds fights has always been the same. Bud is normally more weaker at the first to third rounds of the fight but once it comes to mid/later rounds he starts to adapt and adjust to his opponents style which ends up being very difficult to counter for people like Manny who likes to stick to the game plan. Bud will have plans A-D, look at what he did to Errol and Porter who I believe is as aggressive as Manny, it was both a TKO. For example during Manny's fight with Ugas, Manny didnt adjust to Ugas's style, which was very sad to see as Manny decided to stick to his game plan. It was also the same story with his match against Mayweather, or even Keith. Despite winning against Keith, Manny didnt come up with a plan to prevent Keith from catching up in punches landed, if there were more rounds, Keith wouldve won as to how he was dominating Manny at the later rounds as Keith ended up throwing more punches. Manny is a legend but at the end of the day, its those who are able to adapt and execute their counter measures against an opponents style who always end up winning. In this case, a fighter like Terrence Crawford.
