Thats what Rizal thinks too, he doesnt want full independence from Spain bcs he thinks Filipinos as a whole are not ready to rule their own country yet. Its been more than a century AND THAT STILL HOLDS TRUE. Look at Singapore, suffered under democracy, thrived under dictatorship. Blame the Aquinos for turning Philippines into this democratic mess of a country, just to get the hearts of the uneducated majority.

He's right, why the hell people vote him in the first place? He shouldn't be a politician in the first place. We are in an indirect democracy, where voting only applies in choosing representatives. Laws can only be implented by politicians, not the people.

Kasi nga naman bibigyan mo ung mga tanga na karapatan bumoto, kalalabasan nyan tanga na leader. Malala pa, majority ng mga pinoy uneducated at uto uto, wala pa kasi tayong enough political experience and history unlike USA and Europe, kaya nagwwork sa kanila democracy. Singapore thrived under Lee Kuan Yew's authoritarian rule, in just a decade. He is the reason why Singapore is in its position rn. Aquinos and Democracy destroyed Philippines, fooling the uneducated mass thinking theyre fit to rule their own country. Even Rizal doesnt want full independence from Spain bcs he thinks Filipinos arent ready to rule yet. Its been more than a century and look how that still holds true to this day. Come back to democracy once majority are open minded and properly educated, till then it is not the solution

Why blame democracy? Why blame the people? The people did not elect you to blame them and the system. You have so much money. If you don't like democracy live somewhere else like North Korea, South Sudan or Turkmenistan. People like you don't stand a chance of being successful and rich if not for democracy. Why are you even buying properties in the US, which is one of the most democratic countries. Buy properties in Afghanistan.

Believe it or not it is democracy. Most filipinos are uneducated, inexperienced, and naive when it comes to politics, in general even. It works for USA and Europe bcs they have a long history of dealing with politics. This is what Rizal is afraid of, he said we are not fit to rule our own country, he never wanted full independence from Spain. Look how true he is up to this day. Singapore thrived under a dictator. Under democracy it was dirt poor.
