Mas nagustuhan ko ang Chinoy, Mano Po 7. It's different from the others in the Mano Po franchise. Ang acting ay mas subtle but effective. Ang characters ay mas realistic at hindi parang caricatures ng Filipino-Chinese families.

Okay so... I hated this, unlike the previous films, it felt like it didn't had that Mano Po charm. Watching it again, it is Mano Po in a subtle and modern take. Hindi siya ganoon ka engrande kagaya nung mga nauna, simple yet captivating. This is a remarkable Mano Po unlike 4 and 5

Ito lang ang Mano Po na ang bida nagsasalita talaga ng fluent na chinese. Yung mga nauna di man lang nag effort ng husto kaya ang gagara mag chinese. Parang binabasa lang. Pero in all fairness, maganda lahat ng Mano Po except yung Part 5.

Fun facts: Much like Shake, Rattle & Roll XV and I Love You to Death before, there are no opening credits of any kind at all, except for the Regal Entertainment logo. The film title proper, "Mano Po 7: Chinoy" doesn't even appear onscreen at all until the end at 1 hour and 56 minutes late at the start of the live action main on end sequence, making it the only film in the Mano Po series to do so. It appeared again at the end of it at 1 hour and 58 minutes late before the credits start rolling. And as such, director Ian Loreños, executive producers Lily Y. Monteverde and Roselle Monteverde's credits and the rest of the production credits, Enchong Dee, Jean Garcia, Janella Salvador, Jake Cuenca, Jessy Mendiola, Kean Cipriano, Marlo Mortel, Jana Agoncillo, Richard Yap and Eric Quizon's credits and the rest of the cast credits are not all shown until the closing credits.
