Kaka indeed was the first and only Superstar the Hindi film industry ever had...Manoj Kumar ji had his own image of Mr Bharat and his patriotic songs will be played till eternity on all national festivals...I will not undermine his cinema..his movies were real..relatable and much importance was given to his songs...who can forget Upkar..purab aur paschim..roti kapda aur makaan shaheed..kranti...phool aur patthar etc....belonged to the golden era 👍

Rajesh khanna was the first superstar and nobody came near him. His super period from 1969 to 1974 cannot be matched by anyone. He introduced various fashions like kurta, bell bottom pants, hairs covering the ears etc. Kaka we miss you.

Manoj kumar sahab gave us outstanding movies like Uppkaar, Purab aur paschim, Shor, Roti Kapada and aur makan, kranti etc. These are all his home production movie. Even his acting in movie Mera Naam joker in the first part was fantastic. He is a great actor, director & producer. God keep him in good health.

Apart from being a great actor Manoj Kumar sir was a producer of quality movies . His films carried the patriotic current and touched the nerve of every indian. He could have reaped huge profits by producing masala movies but he didn't. He has been a great philanthropist too by helping the poor and sick through free of cost medicine and treatment. +Veena Kapoor -sorry he didnt give way and fyi no one gives way to anyone, its the other persons hardwork, talent and persistence which made him a star and even in the film which was made RK as hero, even the role was powerful but a new comer steals the show and he has lasted almost 40 years where as RK could not last for even 10 years so what it says, you need to answer yourself. second thing his style was one dimensional and repetitive which could not have lasted for ever because people look for change and if you have seen rajkapoor, dilip, dev anand, dharmendra, amitabh, sanjeev to the current crop of actors they all were different and experimented with their roles which rajesh khanna didnt dare try so we all know the result.
