The translator is terrible. He leaves things out and re areanges what she says. She said she already deserved twice the title fight but she will wait for the result of shevchenko and grasso. In other words she was next in line.
If Alexa Grasso won the rematch against Shevchenko, I believe Manon would be fighting Alexa Grasso next and Shevchenko would be fighting Erin Blanchfield next.
whats worse she could be waiting a bit to get her title shot as grasso and shevchenko are busy with the ultimate fighter and from what i have heard they might not fight each other again until september so manon might be waiting probaly till around december to get her title shot
After Topuria I'm not sure whether this is self-confidence or just cockiness. If Manon TD defense is on point I'm not seeing Erin wins. Either way I'm rooting for Blanchy.
I notice she started getting cocky/confident with her tweets when she was injured. This fight better be a title eliminator. I see good fights with her vs Blanchfield, Shevchenko and Grasso. I would have been awesome if Talia Santos was still in the UFC.
Solid matchup! Both women are 6-0 in the UFC, both having fought former champs in Rose & Andrade. I do think Blanchfield’s resume is a bit better, considering she has wins over both Andrade & Santos. Fiorot’s best win was against Rose, who came up from 115 & really hasn’t looked the same since her rematch with Weili. I think both the Andrade & Weili rematches took something out of Rose… Even though she won those, Rose took damage in both. Also, I recently watched the Fiorot- Rose fight for the 3rd time & it was a bit closer than it seemed the first time I watched it. Erin is hungrier, younger, & a much better grappler than any of Manon’s prior UFC opponents. If Manon can keep it standing it’ll obviously favor her stylistically, but Erin isn’t a terrible striker & is very gritty. I think Erin wins if she can make this fight ugly & a war of attrition. I think Manon wins if she can keep it at range & use her superior, cleaner kickboxing! Good luck to both women!
Bring in JSP to translate and interview it will elevate this low bar interview process with his depth and brevity of both MMA and French. Best of luck to both! Manon is ready and Blanchfield is under rated. No injuries please!
"the next one is for the title", don't look past the fight in front of you. Especially given that Blanchfield stood toe to toe with Andrade's striking.
@@krayzyelfenomeno04 "1-3 no one cares" man you really couldnt last a round against her, fans really love to despise female athletes, her last 4 oponents were top elite contenders, but yeah you can continue to be a jerk
@@cfo1737 actually I think he could survive a round against Andrade as long as you can move side to side, Andrade is a very bad fighter especially in striking
Andrade was a very short notice , only talia santos was a thougher fight Manon said that but translation was not good .Buena silva , maia , chookagian and rose was tougher fight for manon.
I think the first or second round Fiorot might be able to keep blanchfield off of her but as the fight drags on, eventually blanchfield will get the takedown. As soon as the fight hits the ground I think it’ll be very obvious that blanchfield’s ground game is wayyy better and she’ll get the submission.
@@JairoMauricioGarciajr-xk4ejthere were quite a few who got screwed with the third round against Rose. But against Rose, Manon slowed down to avoid being stopped if her cut on her head opened up any further. In fact she has excellent cardio, she said at the end of the fight that she felt good and she was up for three more rounds.😀
I think Fiorot is right, if she can turn aside girls her size who actually has defensive skills, can strike, and wrestle. Right now? Her size, striking and strength is too much for most girls. Their defense is too porous, their quickness, power, and reach is too inferior. Fiorot is prolly a 145'er.
She’s been eyeing the belt since day 1 and hasn’t lost. You don’t think blanchfield hasn’t talked about being the youngest champ ever in the UFC? She’s looking past this fight too. I’d she going to lose? 😅 She thinks Manon will be a cake walk. She’s going to me surprised. She’s an arrogant brat.
@@krayzyelfenomeno04Erin stood in there and struck with Jessica being submitted is part of the UFC not her fault the opponents she faces knows that they’ll be submitted and can’t do anything to stop it. Work on their takedown defense

I’ve yet to see a good French interpreter in the UFC. I’m actually amazed at how bad they are. It’s nearly comical, but it ends up being a great disservice to the fighters.

Everyone suckled on the other Frenchman against Porier but they all forget about the real deal right here. Vegas got it wrong for both. Manon is EZ money Saturday.
Terrible mental coming in looking passed Erin…. Andrade almost did and look where that ended up…. She underestimated Erin’s hands and got knocked down to a sub by em…. Manon will be in a bad spot Saturday night
@@IAMJEFFREY-cw9ns Erin imposed her will with her hands with Andrade the scariest hands in any of the division she weighs in at (she fights at all three women’s weight classes, and has wins in every weight class) weather the storm and took her to deep waters to end eearly
@@Nick_Tank I like Erin. She's a good fighter and her win vs Jessica Andrade was impressive but Erin has never faced anyone like Manon Fiorot before. When Manon hits her opponents they feel it. And Manon is a big girl. Erin's only chance is on the ground.
@@IAMJEFFREY-cw9ns even if they did, her implication that should be fighting for a belt right now is silly because blanchfield also earned it. Hence why they're fighting eachother
Had she been with a less corrupt promotion, she would have already had a title fight. I truly hope she leaves and goes either to the PFL or One FC. Right now she is the best of all female fighters.
A person, in the 21st century, who is confronted with the international media due to professional reasons on a regular basis, from a 1st world country, not being able to speak somewhat fluent English, i's BEYOND me
How does the UFC ensure transgenders are not fighting? Do they do actual blood tests to identify the biological sex of the fighters? Or do they simply take their word for it?
No you don't really deserve one already youve got some wins together but she's no action, boring, I CANT STAND THE CONSTANT SPAMMING of front kicks amd side kicks to avoid fighting. They aren't for damage or as a weapon. It's to avoid action and win decisions. How ever smart it is.
I analyzed the big mouth Manon, she will never be champion. Defeat awaits him and I am ready to bet my monthly salary on his defeat, the French-speaking media are not very objective when it comes to MMA and they have clearly inflated the character Manon and her oversized ego! Among the men we recently saw the french saint denis get knocked out by an aging Dustin Poirier for example ! 😉
