Fight and defeat the King (AI) while he is trying to claim new land.
Fastest Progression Possible Guide / Tutorial
1. Upgrade the settlement to a "small village".
2. Build up a small army.
3. Build a Manor which gives you 250 more Influance and 5 garrison
4. Locate the nearest bandit camp - repeat 3 times + group of outlaws. (2 years)
Or,
4. Wait for the king to try take over new land - and take out 2 bandit camps (1-1.5 years)
5. Done! At this point you should have 3 regions and the king (AI) only 2.
