Q: Is it better to put a packstation in the new settlement or send from the main town? A: If the new town is low on families and money then on you should put on the main, otherwise its better in the new town because your main town should have enough to do already. Q: What is the benefit of two animals(Mule)? Does the pack station family move the goods before the livestock arrive? A: Each family member of the attached family will do a transport on his own then every mule will increase the amount delivered. Q: Does the pack station family move the goods before the livestock arrive? Or is it better to leave unmanned? A: Not sure I understand but, You need to build it only in 1 town, then the family member attached will go take the good from his town (if he can find any) and start walking to the target town, there he will search for the required item and if found make the transfer and will return home with the need goods. Q: What quantity does each mule carry at a packstation? A: Up to 20 with a mule. Q: What quantity does each mule carry at a packstation? What happens to the trade if main town sends the item but the new town runs out of the resource? Does it wait until the resource is ready or does it travel all the way back? Does it drop off the goods while it is waiting? A: If required resources not found in target town, the family member will not wait, he will search all town and will go back with the good he came with. Im unfamilliar with this bug, and I have played quiet a while now. If there is one, or if anyone wants to trade without giving items in return then you are right, the local trades can answer to that. Im Planning on creating a guide on the local trades as well soon. Thank you for the comment And If anyone have more info on this bug he can let me know and I will research it and post my conculations on when it happends, why and what you can do to avoid it.

I use pack stations heavily. Have not encountered this.

@@geoffwitt4227 i discovered the bug within the first few short weeks after launch. so id suspect it was patched? but i never read in the patch notes yet it was. having broke my save though, i havent wanted to experiment with it.

@@ssttvooo I find the game too buggy even now. But the packstations are essential for late game when I decide to come back. In my last trial, I set up 6 out of my main town to accelerate the 2 lower towns. I just don't know if I'm using them right because the resources come fast or they sometimes take many months. Usually send firewood and berries for boots/planks/stones/tiles to move up quicker.
