@@ranzaad The demo is not protected by any security measures. So long as you have not deleted it from your computer, you can still play it. I won't explain how, because the developer is hoping that people won't, but it's not difficult to figure out.

wtf this is exactly the type of city building game I've always dreamed off. Not only you get the regular top view like in other strategy games but you can zoom in like in 3rd person and see everyone building things and whatnot. I love this, can't wait for it to release

My dream game is something as detailed as manor lords, but you control one man, who has to build himself up, he could make his own town, or he could serve someone else, maybe he works in a city as a profession like a blacksmith, or he could be a crime lord or bandit, he could even be a soldier or if he builds enough he could be a ruler of a kingdom and eventually empire. That’s the game I want to make when I learn how to program well enough

I like your style of making these videos, you play the game at a good pace but allow enough time for the viewer to figure out what you're doing and see the actual gameplay. A lot of others spend way too much time trying to figure out what to do (and making silly mistakes, I find myself getting frustrated at the incredibly obvious things they've missed by not actually looking at the UI or using common sense) , and a lot of other entirely skip over that part. This video is the perfect middleground. Keep it up, looking forward to the next episode!

The animation of this game really bring it to life. I hope the dev puts a lot of time into music as well, a game can get old really fast if the music is repetitive or lame no matter how good.

Yea, I used to listen to spotify medieval themed music when I was playing Crusader Kings 3. You just turn off the in-game music and thats it.

The fact that you can walk around in the town, and there are battles in the game. Better mean taking part in the battles as well, then it is definitely a buy for me.

Very cool that they display the proper classes in this game. You have your peasant class, your laborers basically. Good at working and hunting but not very educated at all. Then you have your Berghers (Germany it meant privileged Citizen, one that was educated and meant to hold an office of some kind and usually exempt from manual labor. Artisans would create pottery, stained glass, manuscripts, tapestries, metal work, armor, weapons, tools etc. They are essentially the middle class of the medieval ages.

in the full game there should be some way to find resorces by scouts (f.e. that berries and animals), by dowsers or waterfinders (places to build a whell) to be a little bit harder and more immersive, natural

There are comparable games out there so many people are already familiar with most of the core gameplay mechanics. In fact, developers value any kind of feedback and ideas, from the target audience.

I am a long time fan of The Settlers. I think this Manor Lords is a true successor to the spirit of The Settlers and is called Settler 6. Settler 5 is life is feudal : forest village lol

I remember when i played tomb raider on the original PS and was like 'dang.. these are sick graphics' with the pyramid boobs and everything, and now in games that dont even have any business having such good graphics like RTS games you have sick cloth physics like at 2:23. I wonder what gaming will be like in 20 more years

I'm starting your video series with the first one, and I have to make a criticism right away: I see you positioning the production buildings extremely far away from their target, be it berries, wildlife, and the like. And the reason I do the opposite, I put them as close to their target as possible, is because they're going to be carrying a single unit each time, so they're going to be going back and forth a lot, whereas when there's a granary and storehouse in place, they're going to be coming in with a handcart and picking up the items 10 by 10. So it's not these trips that need to be optimized, but the ones made by the gatherers and hunters. I've tested all the difficulty levels but never combined, I'll have to try.

this game is a walk in the park compared to infection free zone. even on the very easy, the easiest mode, its a total nightmare. try infection free zone and you will instantly regrett calling this the hardest survival game

What is it with this game? I've seen a lot of videos of people playing, and looks as functional and polished as most games can be, yet there's not even a launch date for it. Why aren't they publishing it on early access or final and patch anything that's missing later? I'm not criticizing their decision, I just don't get it.
