MANOVA Compared to Multiple Univariate ANOVAs using SPSS 

This video compares performing a MANOVA to performing multiple univariate ANOVAs. MANOVA takes into account the relationship between dependent variables and can detect differences missed by ANOVA, but would not be used with dependent variables that are not correlated or highly correlated.
