I lost my father 10 yrs ago it was very hard to deal with at the time I thought it would get better but I think about him every day and now my mom is gone. It make s me look back at all the time I didn’t spend with them & now will never be able to. The world is so much more dull without them around. If your parents are alive just spend more meaningful time with them, take them on vacations with you, ask them if they need anything or want anything from you. This song is gut wrenching for me, I have this song in my truck in several languages and they are all beautiful and bring tears to my eyes every time. Thank you Manowar for making such a beautiful song.

Played this at my dads funeral yesterday,totally heart broken,my father fought a horrible two year cancer battle and suffered a heart attack during his battle,now finally he is at peace and away from all the pain and now lives forever within my heart,this song has always hit me hard but now will be extra special to me.

My father died about a year and a half ago, and this song is almost physically painful to listen to now. We weren't even all that close when he was alive, but now... there's so many things I wish I could tell him, and things I wish I could have done better. But it's too late. :-(

I have always loved this song since the day I first heard it. Means so much more now because my father is battling stage 4 lung cancer.
