Probably one of the very best 5th wheel lay outs I have ever seen. Best storage. If we were looking to buy right now, this would most likely be the one.
I really love the new Montana however I have 3 comments. 1) Does the dresser top flip back? 2) It would help us vertically challenged people for the high shelf over bed to be adjustable by 3 or 4 inches. 3) The shower is not up to date. It is lacking. The newer grey shower with the teak seat on the end would look marvelous in the Montana. I hope Montana gets this opinion because I think the 'Very Nice Montana' would then become the 'Outstanding Montana.' 💜
The dresser top does not flip back. And I understand you wishing the shelf was adjustable…. Im not sure how they would do that with it being secured into the wall and having the window there though. Idk! And I understand with the shower too. Idk if they will ever copy what other manufacturers are doing with the shower. I’m sure they like having a seat all built into the fiberglass so it’s not something that can break off over time. But idk what goes into some of these design choices like that!
This is my dream rig (with the Legacy package)! Saving up to get one real soon. The beefier frame on the 3813MS is to support the extended upper deck and that big ass bedroom super slide! Thanks for the great videos. Keep 'em coming!
I love this. You can also put a dehumidifier under the cargo area to keep it from molding in high humidity in the south. My biggest concern is having a better inside lock that can’t be picked when I’m in it. I got locked out of the one I have now and locksmith opened door in 3 seconds. I don’t like that. I want a good sturdy lock inside that can’t be opened from outside when my family is sleeping. I hope manufacturers are listening. Thanks.
I LOVE your reviews Myles!!! I am going to be getting the Montana with the bonus room office and converting it to a mobile hair salon I can't wait!!! Hopefully by next year!!! Thanks for the great videos!!!
Love the Montana! Unlike other brands, for us there are more pluses than minuses to the ones we were considering, this one among our choices. Then the 2022's came out with those vessel sinks...ugh! I'll just simply say we won't have them, and have been shopping other brands since. So far, we're still shopping. But I'm holding out hope that Montana goes back to a real sink, or at least make those bowl things an option. Because a Montana with the Legacy package is what we really want.
Wow !! Really beautiful bedroom/changing area. If you have a large wardrobe or both you and your spouse have a lot of clothes this RV is for you. The only thing I wish Montana had made is an area for a full stereo system with turn table. I have a large music collection and am trying to figure out where I could put it in the living room area. I really love this floor plan...thank you Myles for showing it....
Needed to see this with the slides in. I like regular swing doors if they are real wood. The bathroom door from the hall seems to have been installed backwards. You would want to enter the bathroom from the entry door. Also the doors to the bedroom should be lockable from the hall or the bathroom. Thanks and good presentation, you're a pro.
Not exactly a "mansion". Looks pretty typical to me. Plus, you said "we will go up the stairs in just a minute" and you didn't actually go UP the stairs until like 37 minutes in! Usually you do very good videos. But this one felt more like a bait and switch.
Beautiful 5ver, but it would be nice if you could explain as you are going through your presentation what is an option besides showing a hanging piece of paper. You don't explain at all the rating/manufacture name of the tires or if the axials are 7k or 8k, (I want 8K axles) "you have a big TV here"--how big? You said the 200 watt panel is coming standard on all keystone trailers-yet it is listed in the option column, on that hanging paper. All options needs to be deducted from the cargo capacity total, such as the 3rd air conditioner,. The weight of the propane bottles when full, and the water tank if full, needs to be deducted from the cargo capacity total. Why is the hydraulic leveling system an option? That should be standard, with these modern camper types. How much does that option weigh? Do they even make these specific camper without this option? The majority of consumers on your lot are not going to custom order an RV. Another question is why does the consumer have to pay for the manufacture RVIA seal? Do they even make campers without this seal? No. This is a manufacture process to follow the industry standard code during the building process, and should be included in the base price. You have the weight of 2 30 lb propane bottles, yet you have to pay for the option of a gas refrigerator. Do they even put gas refrigerators in anymore. I say no unless you custom order one. options: Residential living pkg, and four seasons living pkg----what are the weights if these options? Every option needs a listed weight, so the consumer can deduct it from the manufacture stated cargo capacity limit. The consumer needs to know the true cargo capacity limit before they bring one item in the camper.
