1)What's edgy about what I said? 2)I'm not even that much of a black metal fan (more into death metal and grindcore). 3)There's nothing wrong with professional production, otherwise I wouldn't be applying for uni right now. 4)Making something sound lo-fi is a skill, but perhaps a more intuitive than making something sound crispy clear. 5)This record here isn't lo-fi by any means. Is it heavy? Yes. Is it *DIRTY* ? Nope. Bands like Agathocles, Darkthrone or Black Magick SS are lo-fi, but this is certainly not (unless you've never cleaned ears in your life, but then everything's lo-fi).

Because Praying mantides eating each other also in nature. Everything that they can catch is eatable. Even their own kind. So it is pretty normal. When you place two of them in a container they will fight and eat each other.

Sounds really great at first listen, as do their older songs, but the thing is, i just think there is no real substance to the band. I've seen them live three times now, and it's always been the same: The first 15-20 minutes are just awesome and blowing you away, then it starts getting repetitive, you realize that tere is really not much going on (standard drumming, catchy but simple guitars and a loud voice) - and before you know it, you start wishing that it was over already so someone more meaningful could get on stage.

So wrong, in every aspect... Just because both bands use a standard E tuning and Metallica are older, they own the E chord? What would Black Sabbath say? Paranoid is in E, too. Mantar plays in another rhythm and the first notes go down, while metallicas line goes up. Nice understanding of music -_-
