Winter is coming, and that means one thing: winter at Manteca's Great Wolf Lodge! In this video, we'll take you on a tour of the 2022 winter season at Great Wolf Lodge Manteca, showing you all the exciting new features that are coming to the resort this year.

Manteca's Great Wolf Lodge is the newest location among others. This is also a closer location for families who live closer to the bay area. There used to take about 6 to 7 hour drive from the bay area to the Anaheim's Great Wolf Lodge, but the drive has cut down into 1 to 2 hours to this new Manteca location.
The Anaheim's Great Wolf Lodge remains the biggest in size among other branches. The Scottsdales, AZ branch is about the same size as the Manteca's one except Manteca has a lazy river.

That is genuinely wonderful & touching that there's a Great Wolf Lodge there; not online because GWL is so fantastic, but because it FINALLY & properly continues the original tradition of The Manteca Water Slides, which were yanked out in the '90s 2 everyone's hurt & disappointment. Thank God 4 Great Wolf Lodge! 😊

Do you pay extra for water ride or is it included when you book room?

Waterpark tickets are included for hotel guests. You do need to pay extra for the Magic Quest or the adventure climbs. Enjoy!!

i went there and then it took 2 hours to get a room so my family got a discount and its better than wild water cause at wild water the wave pool was so intense i get thrown into a guy and into the ground several times from the waves

Yes, the water park is included in your room rate. They do sell day passes for locals who do not stay overnight.

They removed the TVs from the Wolf Dens and Kids Cabins at all locations.

The Den was once the ideal game room for the kids. Perhaps the TV got damaged by the kids, or there were safety concerns due to them climbing on it? This turned out to be quite a letdown.

@Hazel, outside food is not allowed inside the waterpark area. But you can enjoy your UberEats in many other areas. The breakfast buffet area becomes open seatings after the buffet is closed. You may also find tables and seats by the lobby, outside the bowling alley and by the ice-cream shop. There are also outdoor seating areas if the weather is not too hot or cold. Have a lot of fun on your trip!

Sorry, Emily, I haven't done anything like that :-) . First of all, are you talking about decorating the room yourself, or do you hire someone to decorate the room for you? I have seen people setting up balloons and placing posters outside the door for a birthday party. I am not completely sure, but I would guess that as long as you return the room to its original state when you check out and you are not making too much noise, they wouldn't hinder you from enjoying your time. Good Luck, I hope your plan will go smoothly.

Yeah, it is about an hour 15 mins drive from SFO. The closest one for people in the bay area used to be in Anaheim about 30 mins away from Disneyland. The one in Anaheim is still the biggest. Have fun!!
