Those few bars from 1:24 to 1:32 are pure Manu. Nobody else would have played that. Not Gadd, not Vinnie, not Weckl....Just perfectly melodic. Huge fan

most of struggle to get a pocket playing an easy groove ,he has it flying around the kit playing dynamics, flurries ,all coming back to perfect time .his control of sub division is spot on .add to that his interpretation of song form and you have a very special musician indeed ,

I first discovered Manu through the Tears for Fears album 'Seeds of Love' (Badman's song); "Who TF is playing those drums?" (Reads inlay card) "Oh. Manu Katche. Who's he?". Then over the years this repeated for about a dozen albums. I'm good at pattern recognition apparently. Could watch him all day. LOL.

Sting waited Manu for years to play drums for him.That in all is one of the greatest compliments a drummer/musician can get. A butcher chops meat,a musician plays music kids. Be good people and cheers :)

Holy Crap. Love this so much. The rub n dub is insane in the end but the whole soundscape is just shivering good. Is this on a CD or lossless available somewhere? I really want to have this song to listen to without having to open youtube.
