That’s the manual button. One touch and it’s instant, and stops when you release. It stays on solid if you hold the button down.

The sirens are just really iconic, and the design of the vehicle skin is nice in my opinion, black and white or just white for supervisors.

So funny. Until a few years ago, the headlights were activated either as part of the code3 package or by virtue of policy and driver selection. Now, we've even seen Fire, Leo's forget to turn on their headlights. They make a huge difference, no matter the time of day. You'll even see it at night, red lights on Fire, EMS and no headlights or red/blue with Leo's and no headlights. We used to have wig-wag and that was a fave of mine. Headlights moving back and forth from light to bright. Remember in CA, if the unit has a blue light lit, the vehicle or it's operator has a weapon. (I.E. State Parks Police and CalFire Investigators)Apart from the "usual Leo's" we have 4 in the County last I saw. Good vids as always.

On the 2012-2015 Ford Explorer, the projector headlights can't flash like a traditional headlight as there is no low/high beam filament...it's one bulb with a flap that raises/lowers to control light output and the height of the beam, hence CHP added the white LEDs where the foglights are on civilian models. For 2016, Ford went back to seperate low/high beam lights and CHP has a headlight flasher installed again. The new Dodge Charger (2015+) has the same problem as the Explorer in this video and only the outer ring LED "driving light" can flash which is unfortunate.
