It makes me proud as a mother to have watched my daughter play this at competition. Also my mother gushed with pride at the family reunion para mis primos! It makes all those hours of driving to class and master classes and the Symphony worth it. Now, my Dr.Gaddis still takes lessons and collects treasured guitars during her travels. Thanks Señior Rodrigo for your influence upon Argentina 🇦🇷.
I should add, Mr. Tracanelli took Ponce’s notes and played this absolutely perfect. Enjoyed Maestro Tracanelli’s interpretation and his presentation of executing each and every single note with much care and skill.
Dear Mr. Tracanelli, what a beautiful version of this classic melody and played with such grace and expression! Is it possible to obtain a copy of this arrangement? I am happy to purchase it! Thank you
What wonderful technique and musicality! A gem of a recording! I've subbed and can't wait to hear more! You have inspired me to move this to the top of my music stand. Also, could you share information about the guitar and your signal chain for the audio? Thank you.
English Lyrics ☺ "Little star from the distant sky That watches my pain That knows my suffering Come down and tell me if she likes me a little Because I can't live without her love You are, Little star, my beacon of love You know that I will soon die Come down and tell me if she likes me a little Because I can't live without her love"
Molto bella.
Great interpretation of one of the beautiest songs I've ever heard, and what an expressive arrangement. there's some way I can get the score? Greetings from Mexico
@@ivantsymbalenko4715 I found several versions (but not exactly this one) on the internet. Mr. Ponce failed to copyright it & as a result it's public domain.
Bravo! I love this piece. I think would sound better with nylon trebles not carbon, they are too sharp, am I right the guitar had carbon trebles on? also seems like a great guitar, could you tell who made it?
Ponce had away of connecting the note from high to low perfectly. I love his works. Ponce is becoming my favorite Composer. To me he’s equal to if not greater than Bach, Mozart and Terriaga to name a few. Ponce’s way with note progression hits me perfectly as to what pleases my senses. It’s odd that he didn’t play guitar. Although his works were written for and played by Segovia. I simply find these pieces played on guitar is much better than played on the piano. It’s simply my opinion and I would take nothing away from pianist. It’s my humble opinion.
she dwelt among the untrodden ways beside spring of dove;a maiden whom there were none to praise and very few to love, a violet by a mossy stone, half hidden from the eyes, fair as a star when only one,as shining in the sky. she leaved unknown and few could know, when lucy ceased to be,now she is in her grave and oh! the difference to me.
Thank you, Mr. Tracanelli, for sharing your beautiful and heartfelt interpretation of Estrellita in this performance! Is this your own arrangement for guitar or Ponce's? Am I correct in assuming that the original is for voice and piano?

L´accordatura come in Tárrega é a 440 Hz.
Ringrazio !
Hello good day Stefano, A beautiful interpretation. I am Jorge Díaz and I would like to invite you to participate in a short film (documentary). We look for talent that will help us represent the beauty of Mexico.
