As i said., probably a lacking of vitamin D. DouDou as African origin probably must be exposed more to the sun. Sun creates vitamin D good for bone development. That's it. In the video the doctor said his bone is developed as 4 year old child. Doudou is 5. Sun is the key, believe me. Chinese Doctor missed this, because they are not used to face to this kind of situation (Doudou is half Africa origin). I love you all the family.

@wongkat7145 I'm not sure I am understanding what you are saying. Yes, Fei'er has had the benefit of more prosperous living. Dou dou's first year was in Tanzania where he was born. Given Felista nursed Fei'er I would assume she nursed Dou dou as well. They moved to China when he was one and Felista's husband, Dubin returned home. It was a bit challenging making the transition. (The community, several of which are Dubin's relatives became supportive.) Dubin had to go away from home to find work to provide for his family. The farm work fell to Felista, grandpa, and little helper, Dou dou. The food was new, and an adjustment for Felista and Dou dou and while there was always rice and vegetables, meat was not in abundance as it is now due to money constraints. The cold winters were new and we see Felista is still learning how to dress for it. There is an old video of the family sitting and talking to the videographer at that time and Felista herself did not look very healthy. She looks much better in her first video on this vlog but even then she was much thinner in the video. Fei'er was born over two years later. Dou dou's initial nutrition was different and not as well rounded due to the reasons above. But he is a good eater and he likes his mom's cooking. I agree he is small but I also think he will be fine. My brother was born pre-mature and was small for a long time. Now he's bigger than me and I'm not small.😅 Again, I think he will be fine. He is handsome, active, and smart. Dou dou, I wish you to have prosperity, good health and may peace follow you.

Relax everyone, it's just a check up. Kids have milestone guidelines. Some people just need more time, but it's also important to get checked just in case they need some early intervention.
