It is a true story, it happened to him, in the year 2000 one of his many enemies shot him and when 50 cent fell, they kept shooting at him 8 times, in total he survived 9 shots, including one that hit him in the face. The story of this man is really magnificent, today he is a great businessman, he gets money from wherever he comes from, just like when he was young but now legally. Good reaction, from Argentina ♥ More reactions 50 cent please !!!

Totally depressing song! Look... I get it that it's based on real life - and I'm extremely sorry for the very bad experiences he had - but I'm afraid he also caused suffering to people via his drug-dealing at an early age. (Neither the pain he inflicted on others, nor that which he endured can be condoned.) Lyrically, this is stereotypical rap: full of violence and bad language; musically, though, it doesn't come across as stereotypical - there is some sort of a melody there, which really surprised me! (I don't think even most rap fans would argue that melody is normally a strong component of the genre.) Also, I suppose it can be viewed as a bit of a warning... Overall, I would say kudos to him for incorporating a melody into the song; but I'll never be a fan of rap, I'm afraid. Reason: even some of it's great exponents - I'm thinking "Eminem", here - cannot resist the urge to use profanities in profusion. (The type of person that I am - plus, my Christian beliefs - causes me to really struggle with such things.) Anyway, Nelo - thanks. (And I'll be making some more comments on your reactions in the near future...)
