We have a gold, diamond and enamel 1830's Fr'eres Rochat Swiss Singing Bird Box.
Singing Bird boxes such as this example boast some of the most complicated movements of all automata.It has the original key for winding its fusee' movement.
We will offer two other Singing Bird boxes.
A mechanism by Karl Griesbaum with exquisite enamelling by Emil Brenk and another silver hand-chased box with beautiful , hand painted enamel scenes. All three boxes are in lovely working condition.
A captivating and exceptionally engineered Swiss "Sublime Harmonie " six cylinder Music box on burled walnut stand is a stand-out in this sale !
We will also have two very large and impressive round "Crinoline" style Baccarat chandeliers.
The owners collected many fine clocks, The masterpiece of their collection is the famous Westminster Skeleton Clock by Evans of Hansworth, Birmingham England.
