For those of us who can’t freehand a circle to save our lives, 45 cm around is equal to 14.3 cm (or 5.6 inches) across. I measured bowls and saucers until I got one pretty close. ;-)

Whatever is your length from shoulder to required length below neck length divide by 6.28 for radius or 3.14 for diameter to draw the circle. (Formula for circumference is applied).

why did you have to measure them? The ratio of the radius to the circumference is constant, you could simply calculate it.

Если никакого волана не надо, и ткани в обрез, горловину легко обработать, обтачкой выкроенной по любому направлению нити, и сформировать ее утюгом, приклеивая флизелин, он сформирует форму любой обтачки.
