Well, Frank Welker, along with the rest of the voice cast of Scooby-Doo, will be guest starring as themselves in a brand-new upcoming episode of "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who" soon.

He appeared in spongebob as the gorilla.

That's because he was trained and Mentored by Blanc! In 1962, he was a young 15 year old kid who had idolized and grown up with Blanc. After being hired to do a local KNBC Radio Show, he finally met his idol on the set of Flintstones after Blanc stated he could no longer do the Dino Voice as his 24 year old son Noel proxied for him. Welker auditioned for a bit part in one of the Episodes that would air during S3 and got the part playing and voicing a Teenage Extra. Blanc and his Son took the Kid under their wing, trained him and taught him how to create different personas,characters and voices. Welker was also trained by Daws Bulter and Don Messick(Frank joked often that Messick was his 2nd Dad and lovingly nicknamed him "Pops" ). Welker's Versatile abilities to voice so many characters and animals are because he was trained personally by the GOATs.
