Hey @Smarty - ProEdge Marketing Your tutorials are awesome. But I am very new to many chat. I want to connect manychat to my market place messages. How can I automate my marketplace messages?
Hi Andrea. I am finishing a free ManyChat Beginners Course that has an Open House Flow to start with. Connect with me ... here is my Digital Business Card. meetsmartytherealtor.com The course will be ready in a few weeks.
thank you so much for this video. I am super new to ManyChat so I found it very helpful. My question is: how do I trigger the flow? Maybe I missed it? Or I can create a flow and then trigger the flow from somewhere else? Thanks a lot
Thanks for your feedback. Each Flow in MC has a starting step. This contains the Growth Tools (Tiggers) that will start the flow. MC has many ways to trigger the flow. My favorites are 1) QR Code 2) URL 3) FB/IG Post/Reel Comment/Share 4) JSON for FB Ads, and Website Chat.
@@SmartyProEdgeMarketing I am going to give it a try in the upcoming days. I guess that first I need to think about the trigger and if I want to create a flow for each service I have, or a general one with multiple choices (multiple choices being my services). Thanks thanks thankssssss
Thank you for this video. You title is for Beginner but your video is very advanced and you explained a lot in details which is good. But as a Beginner, please make your tutorial simple and direct. For example, just create a New Flow without explaining the whole bunch of folders, etc.. Thanks again.
Hi Smarty. Maybe you can help me? I have a very simple flow: (1) Person scans QR code. (2) Initial message goes to FB Messenger asking permission to send a link. (They type YES.) Then the next message contains the link. I thought I had it right, but I don't. I have an initial trigger for the QR code => FB Message #1. I have another trigger for the 'YES' but FB Message #2 is coming immediately after message #1, & the person doesn't even have a chance to type 'YES.' Am I missing a connection? Thanks for your help!
Cynthia, Happy to hop on zoom. This should all be in same flow. Person scans QR Code, flow triggers and asked them a question. The question should have 2 buttons ie Yes, please send or No Thanks. If they click Yes continue with the flow. instead of send link, you should have button with link.
Thanks Smarty. I went over your reply, but I'm not quite sure I understand. Do I only need one trigger, not 2? I signed up for the free account to test it out first. I see now that (type YES) "User Input" isn't available to me on the free plan. I see where to add buttons, but what is the action for each? Just the "Open Website" action? It looks like Facebook still has the 24 hour rule, so I can only test it once per day.
Lol. The chatbot works for you 24/7 collecting leads even while your sleep … I woke up this morning with a listing appt and 2 buyer consultations booked by my chatbot … BAM
I have lots of questions. At 4:38 of this video I see a menu to "Choose First Step". I don't see that. If I could post a screenshot here, I would. The 'Starting Step' is add trigger. "Click to add one of the optional triggers." Huh! What optional triggers? Has ManyChat changed their setup since this video was made? So far using, or trying to use, ManyChat is proving to be very frustrating. The GUI is terrible IMO.
Hi Raymond. No Manychat has not change. When you "Create a New Flow", there is an option to "Start from Scratch". It will ask you to name flow and then open the flow editor. the "Choose First Step" list is dependent on what Channels you set up. For example, I have Messenger (Facebook), Instagram, Telegram, SMS, and eMail. I can create a flow on any of these channels. So if you are building an Instagram flow, Add that .. create your message. The Flow builder is very powerful, supporting different message types, Actions, Conditions, and starting other flows. Every flow has a 'Starting Step'. Click to open.. this is where you can setup up what Triggers this flow. Some of my favorite are QR Code, URL and Comments. I have videos on my channel covering these triggers. Does this make sense? Here to help
Having an issue I just can't get past. Set up a beautiful flow with keywords, but I cannot figure out how to get it so people who reach out on FB marketplace are put into the flow. It only seems to work when people reach out directly to my business page, which is a far step from just clicking on "is this still available" on a FB rental listing. Are there solutions to this?

Thanks for the question. A Flow is a ManyChat term. The flow provides the BOT's conversational path. A Drip is used in Marketing. Drips campaigns involve sending SMS, eMails, Ringless Vmail, Postcards etc. to leads. Make Sense?
