I don't understand why Yuna fans are intent on trolling Mao videos when Mao fans don't do the same to their "Queen". Nothing against Yuna because I think she's wonderful, but some of her fans need to get a life.
Okay i understand why many people here are complaining about how Mao didn't perform her best, and that Yuna should've won here. The thing is that Yuna didn't do as well as Mao here so that's why Mao won. If u watched Yuna's FS u will know what i mean. BTW I'm a huge Yuna fan, but i also highly respect Mao.
Why? Despite the fall,it was still a well composed program and it was beautifully done by Mao. Besides this FS,she did a fabulous SP at the same time. Also, many commentators and figure skating fans congratulate to her for her victory here.
The amazing thing is how she recovered from that nasty fall at the begininning to perform the rest of programme the way she did shows an awful lot of character and in the end I think she thoroughly deserved to win.
A very heroic and stunning performance from Mao.The fall on the triple Axel was scary;however, she turned around quickly at 1:02 and did everything else in this difficult program completely and beautifully. She had good flows and heights on her jumps here.I like her 3F3T,3Lo ,2A here particularly. Her skating skill, carriage, arm position , spins ,and footwork also matched the choreography of this program very well. This free skate together with her fantastic SP,Ladies in Lavender, just helped her won her first world title. Not only me but the audience there and many commentators truly appreciated this performance,as everyone can see.
How she recovered from that fall was extraordinary....how she recovered with the rest of the incredible technical content was unthinkable. Mao, a legend and grand master of the sport
Is that a gold medal performance? Do you guys really think that? I can't believe some comments about her. Mao totally skipped some parts of her performance
