Mao is probably the most significant strategist since WWII, but is curiously ignored by the West, with tragic consequences. His strategy allows the weak to defeat the strong, and is used today. www.seanmcfate.com
After observed the recent war, I can see how hummus fulfilled the preconditions of the weak to win.. Well, I must said this is outstanding content on warfare and strategy! ❤
58:21 Francois de Charette was a counter-revolutionary French general in the Vendee who is attributed as saying, "Omelets are not made without breaking eggs."
6:05 as a counterargument I would say that although unconventional wars might be more numerous. I would say that the conventional wars are ussually the most vital to win. They are often about national existense and it is thus in our interest to prepare for those wars first.
And when’s the last time the US won a conventional war - Afghanistan? Vietnam? Korea? Ukraine? US with its Canadian and French allies together are still in stalemate over little Haiti for more than 100 years and had to go all the way to Africa to recruit Kenyan policemen to do what their military has not been able to do They can murder many millions and frighten billions but even the mighty military superpower US cannot win conventional wars in the 21st century
Do you have any thoughts on individual warfare ? something along the lines of Miyamoto Musashi and his principles ? Sun Tzu ? Defeating an enemy even before any physical escalation ? mental states of victory
Mao was able to do this because of the population size, as long as he could gain supports from the people, he would have unlimited resources. China was the stronger one it is just couldn't get its acts together. Ukraine is an entirely different case.
Is there any viable path for Ukraine to get eastern territory such as lpr or dpr back? Ukraine was dependent upon usa but now they are preoccupied with israel. The empire is spread thin. Russia only has one war to commit to and has proven able to sustain this level of aggression for years
@@logancatron2239same principles can be applied. Although , Ukraine would need ingenious military leaders and continuous support from international community. Strategy and tactics will vary but Ukraines best bet would be to ensure the war is very expensive for Russia.
