So much depth, it's almost like hearing music in 3D. Oh how I wish the producers of today would create to this level of detail, depth and creative expression. I fear, they don't know how. They have not amassed the skills necessary nor probably had life experiences that lead to such creative processes. Today, it seems to me that there is no emotional connection to the vast majority of releases, a midi file is placed on a channel, maybe moved around to create somthing that makes musical sense logically, regardless if it's a "great hook" or not. A big stabby sound is applied from serum vst, a few loops and and white noise fx. Get it released quick.
It's money bro. When money plays a big part in music, the quality of the music depreciates and is only focused on the quantity they make. That's the difference and unfortunately that is the case in some DJs.
today is 16-12-2023 , im currently browsin old mixes i made and this popped up and still stands out , and stand out ALOT ,, masterpiece ,, brilliant ,, welldon MAOR :D
Couldn't agree more I miss trance EDM is meh bleh lol boring but it's this emotional dance music called trance idk even if that's what it is seems like it has a sub genre of this melodic melancholy and the uplifting gives u chills n goose bumps music hasn't been around since like 2011 until 2018&19 it got good again then 2020 was whack for obvious reasons lol but in 21 22 and 23 things are starting to sound a lot better like they're getting back to these roots. At least asot is idk I lost interest about then n quit when a&b became abgt instead of tatw so anyway there's that couldn't agree more
@@drivn4895 I can't read that sentence without hearing it LMAO I miss it so bad idk WTF did they ever try to re brand as group therapy and then they have never been the same since and lost a huge amount of following it wasn't ever really explained idk man I hadn't listened to the show in like a year cuz I lost my apple devices couldn't afford to replace them n podcast just weren't the same on the droid app a decade ago lol. But yeah idk why they did that seem for no reason n then I think it killed the show possibly? But idk enough to know that for sure
every now and again a track comes along thats special.. and this is one of them. it moves all over the place, but constantly chugging along. Amazing production
Why wasn't this on the main label? It seems like trance; Anjunabeats released trance back then, and Anjunadeep released progressive house. This is trance, so why were Reflect and Sound Of Sunday released on Anjunadeep?
Because it was a progressive style. The group thought that it could be more suited towards the Anjunadeep sound because their first release was Anjunadeep Vol 1
@user-oq5ei4qd8r Still, this and Sound of Sunday sound much more like trance than the other tunes released around the time on Anjunadeep, and Air For Life, a similar progressive tune, got released on Anjunabeats.
Maybe because of the B-side "Illumina". Maor sent both tracks the same time as a demo, and maybe the A&R decided like this. But hey, whatever label released it, it's a masterpiece.
@@Horizon_KM yes . You my man missed some of the biggest sellouts in name of creativity . I listened maor new track... Bless my ears .. that track has no soul in it . The great downfall of above few mentioned artist always makes me sad. 😞
