Yes and yes and yes on all three accounts. :) But the mountain launches are difficult to get to so we are all spoilt for the ease of access near the coast not to mention all the great restaurants and coffee shops near by! lol ;) The local distance record was flown on a PG from Serpentine (I pass over that spot around the 40s mark in the video) and is around 100 miles along the mountains to the west. You can do it in a hangie but the many areas with lack of landing spots makes it un attractive option to the hangies but for the PG's its fine. Yes, a very popular area for paragliding (and hang gliding) ;) Wilderness on the Garden Route in the Western Cape. Google it.

Thanks for the compliment on the video. :) I dont think you would have done this on a S3.., maybe a T3 though the Atos is def better performing than a T3 (sink rate and glide) - the T3 on the other hand is much faster. (The Atos VNE is 90kph) this has to do with the rigid nature of wings versus the loadshedding capabilities of flex wings. ;)

Better in all aspects except comfort. :)) The Mill is just soooo cozy - can fly for hours and hours! ;)
