I'm from Assam, under Kokrajhar district near of Raimona National Park, I belongs to Bodo tribe. I appreciate you for the informative such video. Assam is a most memorable historical State from the ancient in everything. When Assam got separate State in 1874 then there were only 11 districts. Now it has been 35 districts, a huge growth.

Points to be noted: Asia's first amphitheatre the Ranghar situated at Joysagar of Sivasagar district was built by Ahom King, Pramatta Singha from 1744 to 1751 A.D. for watching games of birds and animal fights besides other cultural progammes. Asia's first oil refinery is situated at Digboi In Tinsukia district. There are 3 other oil refineries of Assam Bongaigaon refinery in Bongaigaon district, numaligarh Refinery Ltd.(NRL) in golaghat District and At NoonMati in Kamrup (Metro) respectively. World Smallest river island is Umananda also known as Peacock Island in Kamrup (metro). Love❤️ from Golaghat, Assam.

Ma'am there's a village Rangsapara in Goalpara (Assam) people known as cleanest village of Assam is Rangsapara yup it's true this village got cleanest award, from Assam Government. My village my pride we working hard to maintain cleaning. Every thing is banned here like tobbaco, wine, cigerette, pan masala etc. We have dustbin in every 10 ft. Tourism village of Assam is Rangsapara.

I am from Assam. Belongs to jorhat District. The place was known as a trading center.[1] There were two markets nearby, the Chaki Hat and the Fish Hat. These two haats, which are paired or parallel, gave rise to the name Jorhat. In fact, Assam is a famous place. The Ahom ruled Assam for about 600 years. And the Mughals ruled the whole of India but fought against the Ahoms many times but failed every time. and could not rule Assam. The Ahom were very powerful. Every district in Assam is named after the history of the Ahom rule. Thank you 👍

Though I'm a science background student yet I often watch your video of like words map series ,river art and culture, national park etc.... Because of your mind blowing trick and numonics. We all the people of Assam are thankful to you as through your channel Assam get exposure. The best feeling was when u start the video by saying Raimona national park is in kokrajrahr. The name "Cachar" has derived from the Dimasa word Kachari. The district headquarters are located at Silchar. The name Cachar traces its origin to the Kachari Kingdom (called Dimasa Kingdom in medieval times)

Cachar is derived from bengali word Kachar means foot hills. Dim hasao language not sanskrit based language and kachar is sanskrit derived word.

Just a small correction. The longest river bridge in India, Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu (Dhola Sadiya) bridge doesn’t connect Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. It connects two places of Assam i.e Dhola and Sadiya

I am from Golaghat district.I see your video 1st time. Upper Assam is the upper part of the Assam. Tinsukia contains Dholasodia (also known as Bhupen Hazarika Setu)bridge and Dibrugarh contains Bogibeel Bridge which connects Dibrugarh and Dhemaji.The Bogibeel Bridge is a combined road and rail bridge over the Brahmaputra River in the northeastern Indian state of Assam between Dhemaji district and Dibrugarh district, which was started in the year 2002 and took a total of 200 months to complete, Bogibeel river bridge is the longest rail-cum-road bridge in India, measuring 4.94 kilometres over the Brahmaputra river.

Dima Hasao is a land with full of natural beauties. Beautiful hilly town Haflong, which is the only hill station of Assam. The village Jatinga is famous for mysterious suicides of birds. Some notable places of Dima Hasao are Umrangso, Panimur Falls, Maibang, Tumjang Trek at Selkal Peak etc it is also known as Switzerland of the NE India and the most important thing is Maibang is the capital of Dimas kingdom.

Note: List of Districts in Assam includes 31 administrative units which are headed by a Deputy Commissioner each. Recently, in 2022, the Assam Cabinet decided to merge four new districts with four previously existing ones. Initially, after India’s independence, there were only 13 districts in Assam but now, there are 31 districts in the state. As of 2023, there are 31 existing districts in Assam. Last year, the total number of districts in the state was 35. However, on 31 December 2022, the Assam Cabinet announced the merging of four newly formed Assam districts into four existing ones, making the total number of districts in the state 31. I am from Morigaon district, Assam ...apka vdo bohot acha laga ma'am...i scored 32/35 it was really very helpful.. thank-you for your efforts... Stories are very easy to memorise... There were some minor pronounciation mistakes I would like to tell. "JATINGA" is the place in Dima Hasao District,where the Birds commits suicide. And Nagaon district is also famous for Maha Mrityunjay Temple,the sivling is 126 feet high..and it is the largest sivling in india..

Yakthung (limboo) tribe is indigenous tribe of Assam. They speak Yakthung language and use Yakthung script, known as Sirijanga Script. You must study them also, they have their distinct beautiful traditions and cultures and religion (called Yuma: Yumanism), language and script, and ethnic wears etc. ❤❤❤ Thankful for your video 😊😇
