Vilnius was only founded in 1323 with Trakai being the capital at the time so I'm excited to see how the east plays out between Russia, the hordes, Lithuania, Novgorod and Sweden.

You read the last part wrong, the uncolonized lands are not like that because of an agreament(they have yet to be colonized by both countries, it's the tag of Oreshek that is a buffer country made as part of that agreament between Novgorod and Sweden

Probably not at launch given pdx's dlc policy. I'm excited, not for me but for the me that'll play EU V in 4 to 6 years with the mechanics we all expect it to have lol

I hope the paradoxes will take into account the problems of Russia at that time and will not make it super strong as in EuIV

What are you talking about? Russia should be super strong in EU4. Of course it should have major challenges throughout the timeline, but Russian Empire by the end of EU4 was easily the 2nd strongest world power behind Britain, stronger in some ways. Let me guess, modern Russia bad so we have to change history.

@@phil-2725Problem with Russia in eu4 is not that they are strong in the end game (as they should be) the problem is the duchy of Muscovy still stomps nearby nations with it's vassal army at 1400s easily ( such as poland-lithuania, great horde, Sweden). I Think russia should be harder to play as in 14,15 hundreds but a scaling machine for late game.
