A sheepfold is a small stone shelter or wall, often found in remote upland locations. They were historically used by shepherds to collect, shelter and tend to their sheep.
The maps show 4 sheepfolds, but which one is shown in the photo?
An understanding of how to interpret contour lines and landscape features will help you figure it out.
