It’s worth you guys investing in a wireless clip on mic, especially for outside.

I'm a bit late to the party and only found your channel recently while googling beginner bonsai. I followed your instructions on a small Alberta spruce, made an S shape bonsai, found some moss in the greenhouse, and the wife is absolutely thrilled! So thank you for all the lessons and encouragement you share with us for nothing. I'll enquire via your website sometime soon about some kind of 1-2-1 session as I have a nice size dark red maple bush and in your words, in one of your videos, you said something like, inside every maple bush is a beautiful bonsai waiting to be found. All the best!

I watch this channel when my anxiety and depression is really bad, it helps me so much! Your voice is very calming and the birds singing in the background bring me peace. Even your attitude about bonsai is helping me in other parts of my life, not just with my plants. Thank you for making so much beautiful content.

I air layered a dissectum, following your methods, and it took 2 1/2 years to develop roots to the point where I could separate it. Even then, it was largely callus and only roots on one side. But now I have 2 Kuro Hime Japanese Maples!

Thanks a lot for all the knowledge and teachings you share!. I just recently found your channel and I´ve been watching as much videos as I can avidly. I like your style and your approach to the bonsai. Rather than focusing on complex techniques and rules, which are important of course, I feel your method encourages me as a begginer to start right a way and have results in short time. This way I find the motiviation to keep going an learn the complex rules and theories along the process. Thanks a lot from Chicagoland, in US.

Please set Peter up with a lapel microphone. You can't hear him very well when his back is to the camera. And not at all when he's in the garden. He has great things to say and we want to hear him.
