Unfortunately, no. The Renegade, and its big brother, The Maverick, accept parts off the AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, respectively. You can, for example, do a Maverick in .308 Win.
Unfortunately, the furniture is OD green and not the Canadian Average Green. I got the pistol grip and handguards from IMI Defense out of Israel. I got the buttstock from Retro Rifles in the US, the butt pad from an airsoft place in the UK (I can't remember the company but they sell it as a one for an L119) and the triad rail from Hero Outdoors here in Canada (It's a knock-off butt all metal and well built).
@@manningyveseldon2604 The barrel is from Saskatoon Gun Works, anything else not listed above is from True North Arms unless otherwise mentioned in my build videos.
Depending of the gas block, you can do that or, maybe, just reverse it. The journal seal that comes with the kit and is hidden under the handguard anyway.
Nah, and the pistol mags are in a grey area right now too, since the AR pistols got banned. Although those pistol mags are still being sold and certainly used. Maple ridge is actually having a sale on 10 round AR-pistol mags as I type this. Maple Ridge Armoury will need to make a new proprietary lower, and then contract a magazine company to make a proprietary magazine for that proprietary lower. Then THAT magazine could have as many rounds as they can fit.
You Canadians have some of the strictest gun laws why the hell you're not allowed to own an AR-15 why the hell you with a company going to build a bolt action AR come on now you're either going to own an AR or you're not going to own an AR and that's all there is to it
