As a knight main, I was hella hyped when she came in to save everybody- then extremely disappointed to learn that the blast wasn't actually supposed to be lethal, so she basically didn't help at all...
I think any knight would have popped bulwark as soon as they saw an explosion like that, lethal or not, all while mentally chanting 'fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, FUUUUUUCK!!!!' As they say, perception is key.
My favorite part was when the knight cam in to save Allon and Mason... so awesome, but for the explosion, even if nonlethal, probably stil could have hurt them, and it made for an epic outro, like... "the knight saves everyone from the huge explosion that soon fills the room... now what happened to them? DUN DUN DUN!!!"
@@hobart4678 I did this once, on temple of immortals. Balrog was doing his first AoE, and everyone ran up in front of him (center-ish of map). Just before he did his swipe attack, I used Defender of the Faith while dab-smack in the middle, and dashed a little bit north-east. Everyone died except for me. I was like o__O "dafuq??" Someone asked if it was my first time using defender of the faith. I said yes and everyone else loled.
@@wanderingharlow6305 becuz there was only 1 or 2 dungeons to progress your character, that's is a big issue in the game that's why the address this problem in the patch and they are TRYING to fix it.
I gotta admit that I feel ya. I turned on class portraits for when my character speaks on the settings. My reaction to this was pretty much similar m.imgur.com/WNZdD7L?r
have you tried playing as a knight? I couldn't beat an archer in the arena. It's the sad truth that in the real game knights are pretty bad, DEVELOPERS IF YOU WANT TO MAKE KNIGHTS SO GOOD IN THE ANIME WHY CAN'T THEY BE GOOD IN THE REAL MS2?
@@carolgreen6885 I think she's the only one with an interesting personality. Nairin is very basic and a maybe a little too jittery; Mason is a weirdo; Condor has a massive ego complex; and Veliche is forever-serious.
So when i reached about lvl 30ish i got some merets and changed my chars eyes and hair (female)...i did not know this but i look exactly like the girl at 00:44, even same eyecolor...not intentional...but kinda cool that im actually 'in' the cutscene
Yup... That... Explosion the size of a MOAB, totally none lethal... ... I'm calling bullshit I reckon they just wanted to cover the fact that they almost blew everyone up where it not for the knight XD
how come in the vids the knight is so awesome but in the real game they're pretty bad? :c I chose knight cuz it looked cool btw I can't stop watching this xD
I don't know if devs will ever see this but fuk chill with the dailies. There was already a lot and now there is more than twice as many plus life skills. Who the hell has time to keep up with everything and it's only going to increase with time as we unlock the other factions. Who the hell came up with this kind of play style of doing dailies like this, it's too much for even the hardcore players. It's like having a second job, the extended dailies, no way to farm meso, nerf to dmg for an already time gated game and nerf to dmg to world bosses make me want to run myself over with a bus.
late reply but meh. to this point im pretty used to the daily routine do faction quests do the last 3 daily missions do the get rich dailys on my alts do my premium dungeon analyse a key for chance of B4 life skills and last my dungeons putting the dungeons aside since i usaully just do that through out the day. this just about takes me just over an hour. it looks alot lol but it really inst that bad. and trust me there are plenty of ways to farm meso through the use of the black market. grinding rusted keys are 1 way each key being around 35k to 40k and on a good day i can maybe get around 40 in an hour which equals to around 1.4m meso an hour which is decent if you need to get your foot out of the ditch. explore the black market see whats in demand and just abuse the hell out of it lol
@@TheAugustas1244 it actually makes me feel like quitting lol tbh a lot of people have already quit because of all of this. I'm surprised I've lasted this long. It's not enjoyable to do repetitive dailies each day especially since you have to do them if you want the legendary rerollers. It's all a chore and tbh i don't even do faction dailies anymore. Already trusted with all factions as well lol. The game requires too much time and I'm much happier converting to a casual ms2 player rather than hardcore and trying to keep up with everything on a daily basis. Got movies and anime to catch up with. Also gotta keep up with dark descent and that takes a lot of time from one day as well. Also guild stuff to keep up with which I'd rather do than faction dailies which are literally so daunting now.
Alex Tsang well at this point you could say maple story 2 is not a game that’s for everyone it is Grindy I will defo say especially if you want to get into the late late game it takes time and luck as well. Personally I enjoy these types of games (totally no gambling problems) always get that feeling everyday that maybe il get what I need after days or weeks of farming and grinding. But it’s just my opinion I enjoy maple story 2 with it being the game that re kindled my love for MMORPGs now and I still plan on playing

This is so jarring for an MMORPG style. These games are like a D&D session, but here it's like the GM decided to take your session and mix or *fuse* it with another session. Those that play D&D know how irritating it is to change an already set character to become something else midway. And for most people, in an _open sandbox rpg,_ they've already set their characters in their minds. This is why in some games, they leave protagonists as silent, open protagonists so that they never clash with the image people have in mind of them. Here it's like a force feed, and MS2 heavily pushed that since day 1.
