Anyhow... I'm still pretty stunned (no pun intended) over this fight. When I first took a real attempt in practice mode to become familiar and comfortable with the mechanical elements to Gloom, I didn't realize the fight was made a LOT easier until much later. Before, the meteors would spawn and drop regardless if you were in Darkness or not in the Darkness phase. But now, having been away from the game for practically a year, I was informed post-fight that you no longer had to avoid meteors while you were in Darkness....
I didn't expect to try this rather early.... but a couple of tiny gains from Shining Star Force finally brought me to this point. The fact that the Darkness phase nerf kicked in earlier kind of makes this fight a bit of a hollow solo clear, but I'm not really going to complain. After all, a clear is a clear, right? :D
Moving forward...what's next? Based on what I can remember from the current Level Advantage Final Damage Multiplier(s), it seems that I could perhaps take a shot at soloing Hard VHilla and/or CSlime next...?
