Members of the Mapleton 21st Ward worked together to remove a diseased tree from the yard of Loretta Green, one of the widows who lives in the neighborhood. Loretta and her daughter Melanie looked on from the porch as the very large willow tree was removed.
This was just one of several projects completed by members of the community as part of an annual non-denominational cleanup event held each spring in Mapleton, Utah.
