Mapping 101: Introduction to RTK 

I purchased the Mavic 3M from you guys a couple months ago. I have really liked it so far, but ran into an issue yesterday that I just can't seem to resolve: I mapped a 90 acre alfalfa field using the RGB camera with the GSD set at 3.0 (height of about 360 feet), using the RTK module. I reconstructed the map with DJI Terra using "Fruit Tree Mode." I set the field boundaries and modified the AI results to mark the obstacles etc. I also set the entire area with alfalfa as purple to represent fruit trees so that area would be sprayed. I generated the 3D flight path and adjusted the route parameters so that the flight height would be 10 feet above ground level (AGL). The problem appeared as I began to spray the field. Instead of the drone spraying at 10 feet AGL, it was much higher, about 32 feet AGL. I tried remapping the field and that didn't help. The strange thing is about a week ago, I mapped out a 8 acre field for my neighbor using the same methods and sprayed his field with roundup and it worked perfectly, maintaining an average spray height of 10 feet AGL. Do you guys know what the problem could be? I use a DJI T-30 drone and it will fly at whatever height I want it to fly in regular flight missions. The only time this seems to be a problem is when I generate a "Fruit Tree" mission. I am thinking the error could be caused by changing weather conditions when I mapped the field (there was a big storm coming and the barometer was dropping), it was also only about 50 degrees outside and my M3M had been stored inside my house at 72 degrees. Alternatively, perhaps I need to adjust the advanced setting on the RTK setting to adjust the elevation coordinates. This is a little beyond my level of understanding, so if you could let me know if there is someone who could try to help me figure this out I would really appreciate it. --

why it took so many hours to process data on dji terra? what computer specifications can you recommend to speed up the process?

Better than anything skydio will ever produce. Starts with the right team and they certainly try to lobby and greed their way against DJI

Why wouldn’t you go into proper detail about best practices and also about the changing of batteries in the RTK-2 base station frequent co-ordinates and how you changed this save and use etc, telling us what RTK is doesn’t provide a lot of value surely people who are buying this or interested in this level of unit know what RTK is.

Do I improve my absolute accuracy significantly even if I don't place the D-RTK2 base stations over a known point? Great video, thanks!
