2:24 Christ the Redeemer is not one of the New 7 wonders of the world just because of the statue itself. It is one of the 7 wonders because of where it is located. It is a 30-meter statue that stands on top of a mountain with a beautiful view of the city of Rio de Janeiro and the Atlantic Ocean. It is as if the statue is embracing the city, and yes, it is very impressive! It is not one of the New 7 wonders of the world for nothing!
I live In Maine, Gotta say I've never felt in true danger anywhere from people, obviously theres certain sketchy places but never truly felt dangerous, only felt scared to go out at night from animals when camping way out in the north Maine Woods (Bear, Coyote, Bobcat, Mountain Lions, even though the government denies a population of them in Maine my family has seen one. and even Moose are intimidating at night)
@blackman5867 I think it mostly has to do with the fact that they have such a small population, so the per 100k seems like a lot, but other than that, it does seem odd. You don't often hear of violence in Alaska
India's population decline will start in 2062 because of the higher education and good lifestyle people started doing less babies and India's fertility rate is now getting down day by day that is why India's population will be less than now
1:02 Indian here, and I think it's largely due to the fact as keeping up with our current birth rate would be immensely difficult as our huge population has grown in recent decades due to a combination of factors including higher fertility rates of previous generations and with new adoption of Western culture, birth rates will definitely fall and I think the population will peak by the 2050s or 2060s and then fall. But even so, only 1.05 bn people seems wayy too low, my guess would be 1.2 or so. Hope this helps!
Hi, I have a question regarding the "Alcohol per capita in liters annuallyl" map. How is it calculated? For example, is it based on the amount of liters of alcoholic beverages sold divided by the number of inhabitants? I have some doubts about whether it accurately represents reality. For instance, Spain has a population of 48 million, but it receives nearly double that number in tourists-over 80 million per year. Most of these tourists consume significant amounts of alcoholic beverages. This influx could skew the ratio of liters consumed per person if only the number of Spanish residents is considered in the calculation.
Indian here, what I feel is that earlier people use to have 5,6 children (Grandparent's generation ) because of the high mortality rates of infants and less education. So there was a rapid growth in population until 2000s. Nowadays only less educated people have more than 3 children(generally) and government promoted the slogan that "bache 2 hi ache" (having only 2 children is good)(to our parent's generation) , now most of my classmates(20 year old here) have one or 2 siblings. Education rate is better than ever, Raising kids is becoming expensive ,plus jobs are decreasing, so It's pretty explainable, it's good tbh.
For 75 years,Alberta has had a strict rat control program to protect crops and farm animals. Mainly it works by patrolling the border with Saskatchewan.
I've been to the Colosseum and I was disappointed. They've built busy roads way too close to it and that destroys the historical charm that the place might otherwise have.
USS Gerald R Ford Its the largest carrier which i believe is nuclear powered They are equipped with many Aircraft plus men and women and its not like the romans have some sort of Anti Air 😂😂
1:55 if all the Roman forces of the time can be concentrated in one place then sheer numbers might overrun the USS ship if the ship were moored, but if the ship is at sea they would surely win.
2:25 The reason why Christ the Redeemer is one of the 7 wonders of the world is a little more complex and involves many factors such as: A huge statue on top of a mountain that embraces an entire city, the Atlantic Ocean, a people. Literally wherever you are in the city of Rio de Janeiro you can see Christ. For religious people this is comforting! A sign of hope... Compare the statue of liberty and the appreciation Americans feel for it and its representation, multiply by a thousand. There will be a percentage of the love that we Brazilians feel for Christ the Redeemer! ❤️
Except for the small towns in the desert I find. Places like Mojave CA, Barstow CA, Salome AZ etc. felt way sketchier than cities like SF or Tucson. Still love the desert states though.
It's quite easy to explain why the number of people in India and China is expected to decline. The number of children per woman in India is currently about 2 and has been steadily decreasing for years. In China the fertility rate is about 1.2 per woman. A fertility rate of 2.1 per woman is needed to have a stable population. The reason why the population is growing especially in India, is because people get older thanks to increased welfare and health. But in 75 years, this increasing effect has already been dampened.
5:37 There's different areas of the state than are bad and then good. I currently live in North Carolina, the part I live in is f**king trash near Fayetteville in the East but in the Western part of the state like in Asheville is great! And even the cities have different areas. Probably the most example is Chicago. The South side has more murders than Australia but the North has very nice neighborhoods. Tbh it's very confusing to me. New England though is probably the best place in the country.
Personally I don't think the U.S will only gain just 5 million more people. Many other sources says that the estimated population of the United States would be around 400 Million people. We still have a steady population grow mainly now to immigration from elsewhere and we still do have a steady fertility rate, not the highest but still enough to help the population grow. Nigeria I don't think will have more people than Europe by 2100 but still way higher than it has now. I think the Nigerian population will either decline or stagnate because it's a somewhat developed country but still has a little way to go. It's the most richest country and biggest economy in Africa so it's up to the future to tell. Let me know you're predictions in the replies.
You talk about hypocrisy in olympic banned countries, you talk about Russiaʼs invasion... and then you show a map of Morocco comprising all of Western Sahara!!! Arenʼt you being the hypocrite, right now? 🇪🇭💪
I'm from Massachusetts. The reason its light green and not dark green is because there are a couple cities like Boston, Fall River and Lawrence that just have a lot of crime, however I feel very safe, mainly because of the tight gun restrictions.
