@@fafnir7149 I'd say its main themes are the question of the degree of impact everyone and anything has on the world and the reasons people have to have different perspectives on it. The plot itself is pretty complex; there's about a dozen main POV characters whose plotlines all entwine at some point. The main Romanian-inspired guy is more specifically the bastard son of a voivode and a miller's widow with a Transylvanian Saxon-like background. His themes are chiefly growing out of his childhood and what makes one a 'true' man, as he strives to follow a knightly ideal in order to prove his worth before his father and acquire the strength to avenge his mother's murder.
