That's how I ended up here, seeing her on the voice. I knew she had been on American idol but had no clue that she had been on America's got talent and Maury first! So crazy.

I've watch a lot of her performances. She has such a beautiful and powerful voice. But the very best thing about her is the passion that literally bursts out of her when she sings. It's almost like she tries to hold it in, but it has to come out. It's like if Janis Joplin actually could sing pretty.

Wow! Why anyone would critisize Mara completely escapes me. She has the kind of voice to die for. Trying too hard? I don't agree. She has an abundance of soul just like Pink and Aretha Franklin. Why not give Mara her proppers.

Honestly, she isn’t bad, but she sounds like every other cover artist. She could be better in a few years, but right now she’s basically trying to copy the artist instead of being her. She’s pushing way too hard and is struggling in some parts because she’s mimicking the original artist. She should probably find her own style of singing before trying to cover songs. Just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️
