Marantz CD 60 CD Player Review vs Marantz CD 6007 

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a CD60 - but I am also sitting on the fence with the Audiolab CDT 7000 - but it needs a DAC.. and that is going to be another chunk of chance for a half decent DAC.. .. hoping to get a demo on the CD60

@@Zenos174 Yes, thank you for asking. I bought it in silver. It looks amazing and the sound is a huge improvement (well....moderate improvement) over the unit I was using. Go for it if you are leaning towards getting.

In my opinion the CD eject button is useless, because to insert and remove the CD you still have to get close to the player.

@@enricorattalino8174 Wrong.I f you have back problem you must bent twice...............once to push eject button and once to remove the disc!!

Unacceptable. 540 euro machine and they forgot to put the eject button?????

@@asklipieionvita8736 Imagine, if the switch on the machine gives trouble, then you are advised to buy the c60 remote which in India costs 90$ equipment?

you would have to listen to it in some store in the demo room because I listened very little from the built-in DAC and I used the DAC in my amplifier because it is much much better , I don't have it anymore I only have my 6 007 so it's hard for me to remember how that one played , in general, it plays a little better than the 6007, but not everyone has to like it because it just plays differently , there may be a bit more bass, but this low end , If you can, you may even be able to rent one from the store .

@@asklipieionvita8736 there is definitely a button on the remote control. But as I remember the old Yamaha, this was the problem, there was no button on the remote control

@@WitczakAudioUK Many users of the 6007 say that it is slow to respond to pressing the button on the remote control if e.g. you want to go from track 15 to track 5. Very late. Do you have this problem? But if you want to go forward from track 5 to 15, it is faster. Is it true that there is no eject button on the remote control? The cd 60 has eject button on the remote? CD 60 звучит намного точнее, сочнее и как бы сгущенно. В нем появляется простор и глубина в звучании . Но CD 6007 тоже неплохой плеер за эти деньги.

omg CD 63 MKII SE KI is so inferior to CD6007. I have both and CD 63 sounds veiled in comparison. No contest.

@@brave1671 pls service your CD 63 MKii SE KI and come back later. It's a common problem with old devices. Mine is serviced...

​@brave1671 a brand new ki 63 will destroy the 6007 my pioneer pd 91 made the 6007 sound like a toy .

@@angelheart7643 true iv had two ki 63s they sounded totally different one was great sounding the other was not so great sounding .

Marantz 30N is better made in every way , inside as well as outside. And how it sounds, I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, but if I will have such an opportunity, I will gladly share my experience on RU-vid
