It's the critically acclaimed sonic spaciness the CD-60 produces that breathes new life into your CD collection that makes this model stand out without having to spend silly money in the high end CD department as well as it's "industrial looking" aesthetics that make it so appealing.
I'm close to pulling the trigger on a CD60 - but I am also sitting on the fence with the Audiolab CDT 7000 - but it needs a DAC.. and that is going to be another chunk of chance for a half decent DAC.. .. hoping to get a demo on the CD60
@@Zenos174 Yes, thank you for asking. I bought it in silver. It looks amazing and the sound is a huge improvement (well....moderate improvement) over the unit I was using. Go for it if you are leaning towards getting.
Better use the new remote control because Marante forgot to put the CD EKECT button in all old remote controls of all other equipment? Only CD60 REMOTE has this eject button.
@@asklipieionvita8736 Imagine, if the switch on the machine gives trouble, then you are advised to buy the c60 remote which in India costs 90$ equipment?
How is its bass from cd 60? Heavy and strong or just satisfactory? More heavy bass than cd 6007? Its treble is soft, normal, or sharp like in the marantz cd 6007?Made in Japan? I like a cd player with a relatively soft treble, sweet mids and deep/strong bass! What hi fi said that cd 6007 highs/treble is more sharp/fatiguing than cd 6006.Which is better between the tvo for long listening sessions?
you would have to listen to it in some store in the demo room because I listened very little from the built-in DAC and I used the DAC in my amplifier because it is much much better , I don't have it anymore I only have my 6 007 so it's hard for me to remember how that one played , in general, it plays a little better than the 6007, but not everyone has to like it because it just plays differently , there may be a bit more bass, but this low end , If you can, you may even be able to rent one from the store .
@@asklipieionvita8736 there is definitely a button on the remote control. But as I remember the old Yamaha, this was the problem, there was no button on the remote control
@@WitczakAudioUK Many users of the 6007 say that it is slow to respond to pressing the button on the remote control if e.g. you want to go from track 15 to track 5. Very late. Do you have this problem? But if you want to go forward from track 5 to 15, it is faster. Is it true that there is no eject button on the remote control? The cd 60 has eject button on the remote? Thank you.
Marantz 30N is better made in every way , inside as well as outside. And how it sounds, I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, but if I will have such an opportunity, I will gladly share my experience on RU-vid
