The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Western Ghats for the next four days, while light to moderate rains in the rest of the state. Orange alert has been given to Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Satara, Pune districts and yellow alert has been given to the rest of Maharashtra.
