Something i love abiut you is how educational you are. Youre just doing your thing but you give so much priceless information to so many viewers. Much love from North florida ❤❤
Great info, sad that so many places in the keys fenced off now or just closed down like Islamorada. All parks and beaches and even public boat ramps in Islamorada closed through September, meanwhile today on my Facebook page is an ad "Visit Islamorada". I'm coming down to the lower keys next week, a little more inviting. Last week was down and launched at the one you showed over the no name bridge. Nice area lots of flats and deep water. Caught lots of small snapper.
When are you going to start fishing? Tons of Mangroves, Tarpon etc, on Spanish Harbor and Bahia Honda. Current is a lot tamer on Spanish Harbor so much safer than Bahia Honda.
“10 good launch spots”? I’d say you got about 5 “good” spots and 5 ankle busters in this vid. Nice video, but I would definitely not recommend most of the ‘park on the side of the road’ spots you showed.
I've spent time in the Keys and that's such a great area to fish! Can't wait for more content. You should also check out the "gator hole" on Big Pine and see if it's still inhabited.
Hopefully Steve will cover some of the fishing and snorkeling restrictions that some of the towns have in place. Also in that area, you better pay attention to NO FISHING ZONES.
Man I got so pumped seeing all those sweetspots...well except #8...kinda looks creepy there...ill take a pass from there and goto #9 instead. Im going to try the old Bahia honda bridge next time I go as well...from what you taught us...to me that spot looks money if the current is right. So I'll be there next weekend and check it out! But I'm a Spanish Harbor fanatic!
Spanish harbor is where it's at man. Current is insane usually at bahia honda... I'm guessing it's the most dangerous bridge in the keys for kayaks lol
@@anthonydetmer really!? So that east side of where the current runs pass the bridge...kinda where Steve looked by the wall there is rough? kinda looks alright to me. Has plenty of grass beds in that area...well its a worth a try...i never fished that zone. Ill keep an eye on the running tides that day.
@@frankiev-tech4630 South East side of the bridge is good and has some nice flats. Dont get me wrong you can yak around there but once the currents get going I personally would not want to be anywhere near the actual new or old bridge. Cam fiah flats but tarpon under the bridges I personally would not do unless you want to fight the fish to Cuba
@@anthonydetmer yeah I see what you're saying brotha! I see the difference in water flow there compared to spanish harbor. There are more tighter funnels to the inlet and outlets of the bridge all the way up to no name key. So yeah it makes sense it's in the safer zone. Thanks for the heads up man...i really appreciate it!
I know all your secrets. I will continue stealing your fishing spots until I am satisfied. If you ever see a yellow kyak with pontoons out there, just know that I’m coming for your spot.
