How to train for a marathon - what I did for week 11 - 12 of 16 of my training.
Week 11 of 16
I only ran on Sunday this week. I was busy and stressed at work, in addition to that at home I ended up doing some unplanned DIY.
Because I hadn’t run all week I ran with the slightly slower group, we did 20 long miles, the pace was about 30-40 seconds slower than what I was used to but still the time on my feet was tough.
I was really happy as this was my first run over 20 miles.

Week 12 of 16
All week I was busy with DIY at home, I decided that on Saturday I would go warm my legs and get the blood running and then again on Sunday.
Saturday 3.88
Sunday 18 miles
Total 21.8 miles
